Inspirational Day #12 and an update

Hello everyone! How are you guys? This blog was in a hiatus for more than two months but I am actively blogging (photoblogging, I should say hahaha!) at Al Ain City Daily Photo and Monochrome Splendor. This photography thing is really growing on me :-)). By the way, I would like to thank my Facebook and blogger friends for your warm greetings on Al Ain City Daily Photo's 1st Blogoversary!

Two months ago, my family and I have been to the desert at Al Dahmaa District of Al Ain City. Hubby drove us way up to the foothills of Al Dahmaa sand dunes. His right leg is still painful till this time due to ligament injury and he's using a cane to walk. Anyway, we had a nice time watching the sun as it sunk deeper into the horizon. We enjoyed every single minute of it until the sun finally bid good bye. Ahhhhh!......it was a mesmerizing experience for us. An enthralling experience to see the painted desert......pastel colors soothed our eyes and gave me a feeling of tranquility. Seeing those wonderful colors, I thought of how blessed I am to see the beauty of the sunset....it never cease to impress me and thank the good Lord for all the wonderful things around us.

~Clouds come floating into my life,no longer to carry rain or usher storm,
but to add color to my sunset sky.~
-Rabindranath Tagore

~The principle of life is that life responds by corresponding;
your life becomes the thing you have decided it shall be.~
-Raymond Charles Barker

On another note, yesterday was the Eid Al Adha of our Muslim brothers and sisters. To all my Muslim friends and colleagues, wishing you a prosperous and happy Eid!!

~Rest in not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under
the tress on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water,
or watching the clouds float across the sky is by no means a waste of time.~
-J. Lubbuck

By the way, I would like to invite you to join us in Project Smile

Have a nice day!!

Looking forward ako to ask you kung paano pumunta jan sa red place (napansin ko nga na orange/ reddish ang Al Ain sand, di lang namin alam saan pwede pumasok), pag may confidence na kami magdrive sa sand =)

Linda a imagem do por do sol. É muito agradável apreciar um. Os dizeres que acompanham as imgens são muito interessantes também. Muito fofo seu blog. Parabéns!
